Subscription Terms

These terms describe the Cognico Pro auto-renewing subscription. They are part of our Terms of Service.

1. Free tier

Cognico's core planner is free: you can build your day with up to 3 time clusters, use task pools, focus sessions and reminders. Cognico Pro removes the cluster limit and unlocks all Pro features shown in the app.

2. Plans and prices

• Annual Plan — US $69.99 per year (about $0.19 per day), with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Monthly Plan — US $14.99 per month (about $0.50 per day).

Prices are shown in US dollars for reference. The exact price in your local currency (including any taxes) is always displayed by the App Store or Google Play before you confirm the purchase, and the store's price is the one that applies.

3. Billing and auto-renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends, if your plan includes one).
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal fee is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription anytime in your store account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep Pro access until then.

4. Free trial

• The 7-day free trial of the Annual Plan is available once per store account, for new subscribers.
• If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the Annual Plan price is charged automatically.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Cancelling during the trial costs nothing — you simply return to the free tier when the trial ends.

5. How to cancel

• iOS / iPadOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Cognico → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cognico → Cancel.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

6. Refunds

Billing is handled by Apple and Google, so refunds follow the store's refund policy: request via reportaproblem.apple.com (App Store) or the Google Play order history. Where required by law (for example, mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country), statutory refund rights are unaffected.

7. Price changes

If we change subscription prices, the change applies to new purchases immediately and to renewals only after prior notice through the store's standard mechanism, which lets you cancel before the new price takes effect.
